Program Management & Contract EHS Services

Permits & Licensing
Benchmark can manage all your permitting needs to ensure permits are renewed as needed and the permitting agencies have all the information needed to quickly approve/renew permits. Our proactive approach to the permit application process significantly reduces any client operational interruptions due to lack of permit(s).

- Cambridge Biosafety Committee recombinant DNA permits

Consulting
If you do not need contract EHS services, Benchmark provides consulting for one-off questions or small or large projects. A Benchmark employee with the correct expertise will be matched to your project and see your project to completion. Consulting deliverables will be specified in each statement of work. No scope is too small!
Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) Services & support
Benchmark Safety Services can provide contract IBC services on a “per protocol” basis or project basis as needed. Benchmark can manage the entire IBC process typically following NIH guidelines. Keep your scientists on science and let Benchmark handle the complex IBC process. We have a network of experts in a variety of scientific fields and local residents in order to comply with the guidelines.
Laboratory relocation services
Benchmark has extensive experience in relocating labs. Using proper planning techniques our team will ensure that you move goes as smoothly as possible in order to reduce any costly downtime and inefficiency frequently found in poorly managed lab moves. Laboratory Decommissioning / Decontamination
Need to provide a decommissioning or decontamination report? Benchmark can provide this service, we start with understanding the specific decommission requirements for each client. Based on the work performed at the location and the equipment used we will create a decon plan that will satisfy the report requirements.
Specialized Training
Benchmark Safety Services partners with a number of external professional trainers to offer group specialized training sessions. We have open enrollment sessions planned with Griffiths Training for the following:
RCRA/DOT for Hazardous Waste Manifest Signers: March 27, 2019 and May 15, 2019
DOT and IATA for hazardous Materials Shippers: June 19, 2019
